Whisked Away to French Countryside: The Enchanting Charm of French Earl Grey Tea

Whisked Away to French Countryside: The Enchanting Charm of French Earl Grey Tea

I’ve always loved Earl Grey tea for it’s soothing and calming properties… But add in a French twist to this hearty brew and Voila! These incredible herbs come alive right before your very eyes. Maybe it’s the 100% organic black tea, the rose petals, blue cornflowers, calendula petals or simply the bergamot… It could be the combination of all these things, and my love of anything French! The infusion alone is just heavenly.

I often sit in a restful place inside my cosy cottage, or out in a cushy chair outside if the weather is nice with a large tea cup of French Earl Grey. I sometimes like to pretend I’m sitting at a French farmhouse where the rose petals are floating past, their scent lingering under my nose. Or maybe I’m wafting through the lavender fields taking in all the scents and scenery around me. This is what this tea does to me! It transports me to another place from just a single waft.

Sipping French earl grey is a whole other experience in itself!

I call it my headache reliever as for me it really does hit the spot and takes tension away from my mind if I’ve had a crazy busy day or I just need to unwind. It’s also just a very refreshing, uplifting brew, perfect to sit and relax with your favourite romance book.

I find French Earl Grey incredibly soothing, floral and fruity. Plus those oh so pretty rose petals are sure to make you feel like you are doing something good for yourself with a bold, inspiring infusion. Wait until you open the packet and take a whiff!

Here’s some tips for the perfect blend;

  • Infuse a heaped teaspoon of Swoon Sips French Earl Grey into a freshly boiled cup of water for 2-5 minutes. As it’s very flavoursome 5 minutes might not be required!
  • Drink as a black tea or add milk (also goes very well with plant based milks, I love to add almond)
  • You can enjoy this as an iced tea on a summers day
  • You should be able to reuse this tea up to 2-3 times per infusion

Enjoy!!
