Swoon Sips Tea was inspired by Alana’s deep love for tea and romance novels, nurtured by her mother, who was a dedicated romance reader. Growing up, Alana watched her mom savour her books with a cup of hot tea, and it planted the seed for a business that offers readers the same experience.
The journey of building Swoon Sips has been full of highlights, including collaborating with authors to create officially licensed tea blends and participating in reader events. While the business has evolved, Alana has been able to navigate the changes with the support of her husband, who knows nothing about tea but is always by her side.
In addition to running her business, Alana is a proud mom of two young boys who love to ask if they can help with the tea business. She takes joy in showing them that it’s possible to build something meaningful out of passion and hard work, and that success is about seeing your dreams come to life.
